Doughboy to Gi 1900-1945

Here is an interesting book by Kenneth Lewis entitled "Doughboy to Gi; US Army Clothing and Equipment 1900-1945". It is printed by Norman D. Landing Publishing which I think is owned by Lewis. The book is filled with black and while pictures of all the clothing, equipment, weaponry, helmets, etc. that the Navy, Army and Marines used or wore during this period. Mr. Lewis is a fellow collector, like us all, so knows what a collector is looking for in a book like this. There are a few colour plates with patches of the time period. Both from Marine and Army from WW1 and WW2. I highly recommend this book if only for the great pictures! Unfortunately it is in English. 271 pages. Filled with photos.

Qui è un libro interessante di Kenneth "Doughboy denominato Lewis al gi; Vestiti dell'esercito degli Stati Uniti ed apparecchiatura 1900-1945 ". Sono stampati da D. Landing Publishing normanno che penso sono posseduto da Lewis. Il libro è riempito di nero e mentre immagini di tutti i vestiti, apparecchiatura, armamento, caschi, ecc. che il blu marino, l'esercito ed i fanti di marina usati o hanno indossato durante questo periodo. Il sig. Lewis è un collettore del collega, come noi tutti, così conosce che cosa un collettore sta cercando in un libro come questo. Ci sono alcune piastre di colore con le zone del periodo di tempo. Entrambi dal fante di marina e dall'esercito da WW1 e da WW2. Altamente suggerisco questo libro se soltanto per le immagini grandi! Purtroppo è in inglese. 271 pagina. Riempito di foto.
