Attached is an image I made of wild big horn sheep. They usually do not come down from the buttes, but when they did, I happened to have a camera.

By keeping the wind in my face, I was able to sneak within 75 meters for this photo. They are few in number here, and I was very glad to get the photo! I shot only with the camera!!!

I went through Nebraska traveling from South Dakota to Colorado; I did never really visit it
but I remember wild fine places

Ho preso questa foto in robusto Buttes a circa 10 km da casa mia a Scotts Bluff contea. Anche qui sono alcune alci, puma, bobcats, tacchini e nero coda cervo. Questa è una parte molto rurali del paese. Nord della città* è aperta prateria per centinaia di KM - Il suolo non è buona per le colture e allevatori solo pascolare il bestiame. Sud della città* sono Buttes - che la terra è usata anche per il bestiame. Oriente e Occidente è agricole. Steve



I took this photo in the rugged buttes about 10KM from my house in Scotts Bluff county. Also out here are a few elk, puma, bobcats, turkeys and black tail deer.

This is a very rural part of the country. North of town is open prairie for hundreds of KM - The soil is not good for crops and ranchers only graze cattle. South of town are buttes - that land is also used for cattle. East and west is farm land.
