Police Luger

Ciao Walter Nowotny,
This example is for you my new friend. This is a 1911 Erfurt that served in WWI. In the early 20's it was given to the Hildisheim police and still has the early police markings of Ordnungpolizei or Ortspolizei(O) on the grip strap. In the early 30's it was given a seer safety and magazine safety by the police and then in 1936-37 period had the magazine safety removed. You can still see the remnants. This piece was brought back as a war trophy during the war. The veteran had to sell it, to my dealer friend, to raise money to bail his son out of jail!! The veteran used a US military issue holster and modified it to take the Luger. He said he carried it through the last part of the war. Very interesting piece of history I think.

Nell'inizio degli anni 20 è stata data alla polizia di Hildisheim ed ancora ha le marcature in anticipo della polizia di Ordnungpolizei o di Ortspolizei(O) sulla cinghia della presa. Nell'inizio degli anni 30 è stata data una sicurezza degli sgombri e la sicurezza dello scomparto dalla polizia ed allora nel periodo 1936-37 ha avuta la sicurezza dello scomparto rimossa. Potete tranquillo vedere i resti. Questa parte è stata riportata come trophy di guerra durante la guerra. Il veterano ha dovuto venderlo, al mio amico del commerciante, per alzare i soldi per mettere il suo figlio in libertà* provvisoria dalla prigione!! Il veterano ha utilizzato un holster militare dell'edizione degli Stati Uniti e lo ha modificato per prendere il Luger. Ha detto che lo ha trasportato attraverso l'ultima parte della guerra.
