Ciao from Texas!

My name is Arditi and I am from Texas. Please forgive my lack of knowledge of the beautiful Italian language. Hopefully I will learn! I will use Babel Fish for my translations, but they are not always the best. I recognize many of the people here from another collectors forum and especially my friend Blaster! I am from a military family. My father served in the US Navy for 35+ years and I served 5 years in the Marines. I collect the weapons, uniforms and other items of WWII infantrymen of Italy, USMC, Russia, Germany and some WWI items, but Italian militaria is my favorite. I look forward to learning more about Italian militaria and making new friends here.
Hello![;) ] Il mio nome è Arditi e provengo dal Texas. Perdoni prego la mia mancanza di conoscenza della lingua italiana bella. Eventualmente imparerò! Userò i pesci de Babele per le mie traduzioni, ma non sono sempre il la cosa migliore. Riconosco molte della gente qui da un'altra tribuna dei collettori e particolarmente dal mio artificiere dell'amico! Provengo da una famiglia militare. Il mio padre ha servito nel blu marino degli Stati Uniti per gli anni 35+ ed ho servito 5 anni nei fanti di marina. Raccolgo le armi, le uniformi ed altri articoli dei infantrymen di WWII dell'Italia, di USMC, della Russia, della Germania e degli articoli di qualche WWI, ma il militaria italiano è il mio favorito. Aspetto con impazienza di imparare più circa il militaria italiano e fare i nuovi amici qui.

It's good to meet you! Though I collect many nations militaria I have a primary interest in Italian militaria. I accidently came upon another fine Italian militaria board some time back that is now defunct unfortunately. I have since moved here to continue my interest/knowledge growth with Italian militaria. A lot of the gents here I recognize from their monikers there. I've made a close friendship with Blaster at the other board that has continued here and off boards. Thanks for your interest. It's good to make another friend.
