Hello!
I have found a picture of the Italian Brixia semi-automatic pistol with a long barrel and detachable stock (modeled after German Mauser)
Did it really exist? If yes - what was the year of its make and official designation?

This is not a Brixia 1913 but a Brixia 1920: you can see the new folding rear sight.
It wad produced only a little batch (perhaps 10 units, perhaps less).
Non vediamo la storia per come è ma per come siamo.
Thank you!
Where can I read more about this pistol?
The book (in Russian) which I have says it has:
actual caliber: 8.85mm
weight (without a detachable holster): 950 g
barrel length: 175 mm
magazine capacity: 7 rounds
velocity: 300 m/s
muzzle energy: 36.6 kgm
aiming range: 1000 m
I know only a book: "Le cinque vite della Glisenti 1910" by Marcianò-Simoni - Ed. Albertelli 2011 (Albertelli is now closed).
In this book there is a chapter about the Brixia 1920.
The caliber is the 9mm Glisenti, that is the 9 Luger with less powder;
weight is 1120g (with empty magazine);
barrel lenght: 175mm;
7 rounds;
Velocity: ??;
muzzle energy: ??;
aiming range: ??.
Non vediamo la storia per come è ma per come siamo.
Great, thank you very much!
