The Balilla rifles were built by many different factories.
Yours has been built by FNA, Fabbrica Nazionale Armi.
It was an Italian state factory and it was very important.
It was bought in 1958 by Beretta and it was definitively closed.

My Balilla rifle was produced by "NeVC" that stays for "Vittorio ed Emanuele Castelli" that was a private arms factory in Brixia that also produced parts for the 91 rifles.
In 1926 all the Italian Scout organizations were closed and replaced by the Balillas.
They had their uniform, and everyone had a badge like this:

In un orrido inglese che credo farà* rivoltare nella tomba il buon Guglielmo Shakespeare ho segnalato a 5thDragoons che il suo Balilla è stato prodotto dalla FNA mentre il mio dalla Castelli.
Ho riportato le foto di un fucile civile prodotto in alluminio dalla FNA nel 1949, uno tra gli ultimi tentativi della FNA di rimanere sul mercato:
