Se qualcuno avesse una qualche idea del loro probabile significato..
Non mi sembra che siano state fatte a posteriori; parrebbero, dal colore, dal tipo di incisione e dal solco, coeve alla lama.
La lama, per rispondere a Gunter, era effettivamente in origine brunita, così come la guardia, ma la pulitura a spazzola metallica purtroppo se l è portata via.
